De belangrijkste weetjes over strooizout!
Zodra de barre winter er weer aankomt en het gaat vriezen, is strooizout bestellen waarschijnlijk een van de eerste acties die je onderneemt. Om gladheid en ongelukken te voorkomen op fietspaden, voetpaden, snelwegen en andere grote wegen is preventief strooizout strooien essentieel. Slipperiness control 2.0 in the municipality of Teylingen
For years, slipperiness control in the Municipality of Teylingen was done in the traditional way. Shovels were loaded from a modest salt store and brine was made with a small dissolver. The whole process was quite time consuming. However, the recent purchase of 2 silos with a solver changes this. The municipality of Teylingen now has a modern, reliable and efficient process for anti-icing conditions and is therefore ready for the future!

Prepared for de-icing even in warmer winters
We hardly notice it anymore when the temperature stays above 10 degrees for weeks in winter. The hat stays in the closet, we only skate on artificial rinks and the gritters stay inside. Still, it's important to be alert for sudden slipperiness and to always have enough salt in stock. Because a shortage of road salt causes accidents.

Interview Brine plant
Eurosalt Winter Services has in November 2020 inaugurated a new brine plant in Hattemerbroek. Thanks to this fully automatic brine maker, Eurosalt is able to build up and manage its own brine stock for the control of slipperiness on the roads of Gelderland and far beyond.
