How much salt to sprinkle?

The amount of salt that needs to be spread depends strongly on a number of factors. For example, the weather conditions, the subsoil and traffic have an influence on the operation and therefore on the amount of salt to be spread. Sprinkle a few hours before it starts snowing. A hand (approximately 20 grams) per m² is sufficient.
It is important to sprinkle preventively instead of curatively, i.e. before it becomes slippery. In this way, permanent safety can be guaranteed and the salt consumption can be kept in hand: 1 kg preventive spreading can save 5 kg curative spreading. After snowfall, it is best to make the surface as free of snow as possible before spreading.
